Market Update

By August 21, 2015Uncategorized

Stocks declined sharply this week as concerns regarding the impact of China’s slowing economy on global capital markets intensified.  The S&P 500 fell to its lowest level since late January (from a high of 2130 to 2000).  We believe that the stock market may experience continued volatility during the second half of 2015, and the odds of further market weakness have increased.  We remain positive on the long-term outlook for U.S. stocks, and believe that a 10-20% pullback would create a good opportunity to position capital for the long-term.
