Edson L. (Ted) Bridges III, CFA – President, CEO, Director
Ted Bridges began his career with Bridges in 1983 after completing his degree in Government and Economics from Dartmouth College (1980) as well as his J. D. from the University of Nebraska (1983). Ted received his CFA designation in 1987. He is currently a member of the Investment Counsel of America, and is a member and past president of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts. Ted also maintains membership in the American Bar Association in Nebraska. Ted is the head of investments for Bridges as well as a portfolio manager for individual clients, corporate assets and endowment accounts.

Edson L. Bridges II, CFA – Director
Edson joined Bridges in 1959 after completing his secondary education at Deerfield Academy and receiving a degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. Edson also received his MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He received his CFA designation in 1967 and has headed Bridges Investment Counsel, Inc. since 1970. Edson is a member of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts, and of the Investment Counsel of America. Edson is very active in the community serving as a director or member of various charitable, civic and corporate boards and organizations.

Brian M. Kirkpatrick, CFA – Senior Vice President, Director of Research, CCO, Director
Brian Kirkpatrick joined Bridges in 1992, after receiving his degree in Business Administration from Pensacola Christian College. Brian received his CFA designation in 2001 and is a member of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts. Brian heads the investment research team for Bridges Investment Management, Inc. and is a member of the Investment Committee. Brian also provides portfolio management for individuals, corporate assets and charitable foundations.

Douglas R. Plahn, CFA – Senior Vice President, CFO, Director
Doug Plahn joined Bridges in 1993 after receiving his degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Doug received his CFA designation in 2000, and is a member of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts. Doug is the head of accounting for Bridges and is a member of the Investment Committee. Doug also serves as portfolio manager for both individual and charitable portfolios.

Deborah L. Grant – Senior Vice President, Director
Debby Grant joined Bridges in 1976 as a statistician/accountant. She progressed to become head of client accounting and was given security trading responsibilities in 1985. She currently heads the Client Services department for Bridges. Debby also provides portfolio management for individuals and charitable portfolios while specializing in fixed income management for the firm.

Patricia S. Rohloff – Vice President
Patricia Rohloff has been with the firm since 1993. After receiving her associate’s degree in accounting in 1987, she has various accounting positions. Patti is a member of the Omaha-Lincoln Society of Financial Analysts as well as Bridges Investment Committee.

Nancy K. Dodge – Senior Vice President
Nancy Dodge launched her career with Bridges in 1980 as an administrative assistant. Since that time she has worked in the areas of research, client accounting, equity trading and customer service. Today, Nancy manages the day to day operations of Bridges Investment Fund, Inc. and Bridges Investor Services, Inc. while serving on the portfolio management team and overseeing new business relationships.
